PROGRAM DIRECTOR: The Program Director, is appointed by the Grand Knight each year. The Program Director consults with and recommends to the Grand Knight the appointments of a Church, Community, Council, Family, and Youth Directors. Activities and events sponsored by the council in connection with the Service Programs should be outlined, planned and recorded at least six months in advance. Monthly meetings should be held by the Program Director for members of the various committees or groups. Advance planning will prove an effective method assuring interesting meetings and successful sponsorship of council projects. Council reports should be made monthly by the various Group Directors to the Program Director for submission to the Grand Knight and the State Council office for state recognition. The Program Director oversees the council’s programs to assure program completion for state recognition awards.
CHURCH DIRECTOR: The Church Director is responsible for church related programs. The Church Director focuses on defining and sponsoring activities which enhance council member participation and understanding of our faith. Typical activities or services in this area include: making recomendations to spomsor a seminarian, sponsoring a Catholic video lending library, providing recognition for Sacrament achievement within the Parish, and Keeping Christ in Christmas programs. The Church Director should develop church related programs at the beginning of the year that fulfills the state requirements for honor council in the state program competition. COMMUNITY DIRECTOR: The Community Director works to extend the Council’s reach beyond the Parish and into the surrounding community. Typical activities or services in this area include Pro-Life programs, Operation L.A.M.B., promoting volunteerism in the community, delivering meals to the homebound, civic involvement, drunk driving awareness, adopt a highway programs, and drug and alcohol abuse awareness.

COUNCIL DIRECTOR: The Council Director is, for lack of a better term, Mr Fun! The Council Director is responsible for fraternal fun events within the Council. Activities are virtually unlimited but can include recognition nights, pizza nights, family picnics, Council dances, Council anniversary celebrations and council athletics of any kind (such as: golf outings, bowling events, or group attendenace at local softball and basketball events)—any events that are an important part of fraternal life. Additionally this Director is responsible for Council Public Relations.

FAMILY DIRECTOR: The Family Unit as a principle element in American society is of immense value. The Family Unit serves as an incubator for strong religious, moral, and ethical values. It is central to our strength as a nation. The Family Director is focused on stimulating togetherness within family units through social, recreational and educational activities. Family communion breakfasts, marriage vow renewal programs, supporting Catholic schools, scholarships, Council Ladies Nights and Memorials are all functions for this Directorship. The Family Director above all others allows for the leader to work not only with his fellow Knights but also with his family members.

YOUTH DIRECTOR: The Youth Director has the advantage of having many ready made activities to drive. The Knights sponsor various events for this area including the Soccer Challenge, Free Throw Contest, Essay Contest, Spelling Bee, Substance Abuse awareness poster contest. In addition to these the Knights can help support local programs and Scouting within the Parishes. Possible committee under the Youth Director may include:

MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR:DGK The Membership Director is appointed by the Grand Knight. The Membership Director ensures there is an active membership recruitment plan to open houses, membership blitz's, and to help communicate the advances of being a member of the council and the Knights of Columbus. The Membership Director also oversees retention of members who may appear to be inactive, and he also works closely with the KofC Field Agent to develop programs and/or activities to promote insurance program.
