Welcome to the Official Publication of Belmont Council #11076
Please Support and Pray for our Troops
General Information: The host parish of Council 11076 is Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, 503 North Main Street, Belmont, North Carolina. Council 11076 serves local catholic community, and the cities and townships of eastern Gaston County and western Mecklenburg County.
Council Vision: To be recognized as a leader in Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, and the Belmont and surrounding communities for the exemplification of charity, unity, fraternity, patriotism, defense of the priesthood, respect for life and defense of our Catholic faith; and to have an image and value of membership such that catholic men would want to become active members of our Knights of Columbus council.
Council Mission: The council executes this vision by striving in charitable works; serving the Church and being unified in following its teachings; supporting brother Knights in their temporal and spiritual needs; acting for the good of their country; and giving aid to widows, orphans, the sick, the poor, and the intellectually disabled. The council is firmly committed to the protection of human life, from conception to natural death, and to the preservation and defense of the family. It was on these bedrock principles (charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism) that the Order was founded over a century ago by Fr. Michael J. McGivney and remains true to these same principles today.
