Our Council Mission:
The council executes this vision by striving in charitable works; serving the Church and being unified in following its teachings; supporting brother Knights in their temporal and spiritual needs; acting for the good of their country; and giving aid to widows, orphans, the sick, the poor, and the intellectually disabled. The council is firmly committed to the protection of human life, from conception to natural death, and to the preservation and defense of the family. It was on these bedrock principles (charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism) that the Order was founded over a century ago by Fr. Michael J. McGivney and remains true to these same principles today.

St. Joseph's Catholic Church: St. Joseph's Catholic Church is located in Mt. Holly, NC along Rte 273 at the intersection with Sandy Ford Road. The church was built in 1843 and is the oldest Catholic Church in North Carolina. In September, Queen of the Apostles Council 11076 assumed all ground work and outside repairs for this historical area church. During the next several years, the Council devoted many member-hours and expenses to improve the grounds of this historic church. The Council had a bulldozer remove 8 feet of brush from one and one-half acres of land to construct a parking lot. During this process the Council also had 27 trees removed from the property. These trees were overhanging the church building and posed a danger to the roof. The Council also rebuilt a Grotto area with flowers and flower planters. Since this historic church also has a cemetery on the property, the Council repaired and restored 23 damaged headstones which were made to look like new. This project took from November 1994 to April 1995. From October 1995 to July 1996 the members of this council repaired a one hundred foot rock wall along the northside of the cemetery. They have since maintained the property in good order and have provided over twenty tours of the church and property giving history lessons to visitors and guests. In 1998 they repainted two rear rooms of the church in which the priest had lived in the 1800's plus they were able to reinforce pillars under the west wall of the church. St. Joseph's committee chairman and the Council Historian is Carl Heil who is a Past Grand Knight.
